Cima del Pomer

Cima Del Pomer is a stunning Prosecco producer that has been making wine since the late 1700s. Located in Monfuma, a commune in the historic wine province of Treviso. Cima Del Pomer produces both DOC and DOCG Prosecco, as well as a select amount of DOP Extra Virgin Olive Oil from their 200+ plus Olive trees. 

In The Vineyard...

    The farm is only 2.5 hectares, allowing for a niche production of around 2500 cases per year. The Chapter 5 Fondante, in particular, is produced using the age-old method of re-fermentation, or "sur-lie." The grapes are fermented and bottled with their own yeasts. The wine is completely natural, unfiltered, and sulphite-free. The aromas of fruit and flowers compliment a crisp, clean, and refreshing palate. The bubbles on the nose and palate are subtle and completely unique due to the sur-lie process. The finished product is a fine expression of the surrounding historic landscape and a style of Prosecco that is not too often found. We are glad it is here!
